I’ve had a very interesting and happy few days. We’ve been very busy at home with having a floor done. It’s nearly finished, but it’s left lots of other jobs needing doing like decorating. It’s worrying me because I can’t decide on colours.
Today Gareth McLearnon and James Cairns came to lunch ( I wanted to put their photo here, but I can’t work out how to do it, so I’ll post it later). It was really good to see them both and chat about all things flutey. I was really thrilled that James brought me an amazing present – orchids, pictured above. Aren’t they beautiful? But I’m now really, really worried! What a responsibility looking after such a superb plant!! I’m terrified! How often do I water it? Do I feed it? If so, what on? Where should I let it live? I taught Joleigh and Juliet this evening and made them play a tune to it – so if it dies it’s their fault!
Any advice anyone can offer will be gratefully received.
