Sunday/Monday – does it matter?

I woke up a bit late this morning and hurried down to the office to see if there had already been a message left on the answerphone from the printers. There hadn’t. So I checked the emails and noted there were remarkably few. I ran through the list of jobs I’d got planned for the day and went off to have a cup of tea and shower, hoping the printers would have phoned by the time I was out of the shower.

They hadn’t phoned, so I told my husband I’d dash along to the shops to get some fresh bread and asked him to answer the phone if it rang. He asked me if I really expected a call this morning. Then it dawned on me. It wasn’t Monday, it was Sunday! I’ve never experienced that before. I remember getting the time wrong on a course once when the clocks had changed, but that was only an hour – but a whole day?!

It’s been lovely to have an ‘extra’ day. I’ve caught up with a few jobs and generally just chilled out. I don’t know if I should be worried by this memory lapse or just hope it happens again as it has many advantages.

It’s tomorrow, Monday, when I’ll get a call from the printers and then I’ll go up to visit them in Small Dole to do the final proofs of this magazine – hurrah. It’s quite a good one I think. I love the cover and I think you will.

I wish this happened to me! More often than not I wake up thinking it’s the day before and lose a day!! Which isn’t so helpful!

Glad you got some time to chill out and relax though, much deserved :)

    Speak to you soon,

I do things like that all the time! I got the day wrong of an orchestra committee meeting – emailed the leader about music I was going to bring and she then gave the conductor a telling off for not informing her about the meeting. It was actually two weeks later!! I’m not senile honest!

    Looking forward to the mag.
