Slovenia – Thank Yous.

Just like everyone who came to Slovenia, I’m slowly recovering. I still feel a bit physically tired but really energised about Flutewise and the future.

This post is about thank yous. Saying thank you is so very, very important. Not saying thank you is on my very short list of ‘Things That Annoy Me”. The photo above is of my presents – a purple cow full of Milka chocolate and a bottle of Moet champagne (I hope the bottle is full, but I have a suspicion that the cow has drunk it as she is lying on her side!) Thank you everyone – parents, grandparents, flute players and staff, it was such a lovely surprise. I really wasn’t aware of Stephen and Elisabeth planning things.
I also need to say thank you to all the parents, grandparents and brothers and sisters who came with us. They were all a great pleasure to get to know – and very well-behaved!
Next I need to thank the amazing young flute players – you were all amazing!
Next the staff – in no particular order – Sandy, Gareth, Abbie, Stephen, Andy and James – you are all terrific – what would we do without you?!
I also need to thank Ian Clarke – but I need to keep that one for another post.
But maybe the most important person to thank is Matej Zupan who organised the whole convention. Without him we wouldn’t have had the opportunity. So thanks Matej – a true star.
