I had a lovely surprise when the postman came this morning. Amy and her mum, Elizabeth, had sent me a wonderful present – an umbrella covered with little owls just like Flutey (although this owl must be his cousin because he isn’t playing the flute). It’s great. Now I want it to rain so I can go for a walk and show it off!

I love nice surprises too! Unfortunately I woke up with a horrible one today – a streaming cold!!! I hope no-one else from last w/e course has got it too, r we’ll have to send out a search party to find who was so generous to give it away – or may be it was the cold showers!!!!!
