Ian McLauchlan

The workshops finished with the opportunity to ‘Meet the Flute Makers’ which was led by Ian McLauchlan and there was also a Flutewise Girly Club meeting and a Flutewise Male Club meeting.
Back on the Barbican foyer at 17.00 Louise Matthew and Ian Judson performed some duets including Doppler’s Andante and Rondo accompanied by Tim Carey. Then we were treated to the Professional Flute Choir. This was comprised of lots of professional players who love Flutewise and was directed by Gareth McLearnon. They were:

They played Hermann Arr. Findon: Theme from “Psycho”; Handel Arr. Fleming: Flute Concert in F major and Coleman/Fields: Big Spender
