There was a very stressed violinist leaving as I arrived and a seriously annoyed trombonist! I'm auditioning for NYOW too! My auditions on Sunday... but I'm not too nervous because I don't expect to get in... its just for the experience. What scales did they ask you Jack? I'm a bit...well... rubbish on my scales because I only entered for the audition 2 weeks ago, and hadn't been learning the grade 8 scales before then because I'd been concentrating on the exercises in one of Moyse's books.
