Erich arrived yesterday morning from Texas to come and teach on our course this week. We’ve been out having fun. It’s the first time he’s been to the UK, so there is plenty for him to see.
Yesterday we went to the sea and took photos of him with beach huts (he hadn’t seen those before). Then we went to Ovingdean and saw the school, looked round the church and had a chat with my friend Robert. A pretty village called Alfriston was our next stop for afternoon tea – so very British.
Today we’ve been to the Royal Pavilion in Brighton, through the Lanes and onto the pier. Erich is resting now and I’m about to go food shopping for lots of party food as it is our wedding anniversary today and we need to celebrate. I think Erich might do some more practice when I’m out, he did some before breakfast.
