Catch Up

Sorry I haven’t posted recently. I’ve been very busy. Mind you, if people leave comments it spurs me on to post something – so it’s all your fault!

The magazine is printed and at the finishers. With a bit of luck it will be posted by Monday. It all takes much too long.
One thing that has kept me busy is the revisions to my Fife Book which is being relaunched very soon. That’s exciting. The revisions took me for ever and it’s not over yet.
Something else that is very exciting is that Andy, Abbie and I went for a meeting at the Barbican Centre yesterday about the possibility of Flutewise holding a huge 2 day event there next May. We are still in the exploration stages at the moment, but what do you think?

Great news about the magazine…especially as its been so much hard work.

And the fife book. I love your fife book – I’ve still got my copy, and I still look at it!!!

Last week, before I went away, I did the most interesting of things. I posted my flute. My old flute, to be accurate. It was chalanging on the basis that the post office dont sell flute case shaped boxes. So we got lots of bubble wrap and wrapped the case in that. We then begged a box off Argos, so we had large amounts of thick carboeard (it was a big box). The flute case wrapped in bubble wrap was then parcled up in cardboard, before being covered in brown paper. It took quite a while to do. We then insured it’s delivery when it was posted. It did get to where it was going (at 7.15 am), but been as it’s still got part of its journey to do I won’t reveal more here.
