If you weren’t there, you missed a great course. We had so much fun (there was also lots of hard work). I haven’t got round to finding the cameras to download all of the photos yet. We took loads and some will be very funny. You won’t believe what Stephen’s fancy dress costume was!
We had the usual problems at Ovingdean – water pouring through the ceiling and this time the heating broke down – but they fixed it. The food was great, as usual. Sandy and Stephen came for Thursday to Saturday and Abbie and Gareth came on Friday until Sunday. On Saturday James Penny came along for a workshop about his new flute concerto which Gareth is playing in March 2009 for the very first time. It was exciting for everyone to see a real live composer working on a new piece with a soloist.
We also had lots of teachers in on Saturday afternoon for a meeting about the Barbican and increasing Flutewise membership and a general chat. What nice teachers they are.
I’m off to find those phtos ….
